DescriptionBlack and white photograph of a tavern, built in 1875. The structure operated as a tavern for over 100 years, last known name was Parkside Tavern. The tavern was located on the southwest corner of 1st and Washington Streets in Papillion, Nebraska. Advertisements for beer and 10 cent cigars show on the side of the building. Six men and two boys stand on the raised wooden sidewalk in front of the tavern. A girl sits on a wooden bench at the side of the tavern.
